Trials

Trials are not about speed but combine momentum, throttle control and choice of line mostly uphill and often between trees, roots and other obstacles until one ‘clears’ a section or comes to a stop.

In the early years of the club motor-cycle trials were popular, but later special trials cars were used and finally standard production cars. Clearly the courses set for the latter were easier as they were tackled by the members’ in their own family car.
